Ellen Goff – Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation


Ellen Goff, Board Member of the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation will speak to the Lake Wylie Rotary Club on September 16. This year, LWRC is a Partner Sponsor of the 2014 Riversweep which will take place on October 4.

Ellen is from Lake Wylie, South Carolina, where she and her husband have lived for almost a decade. For the last six years, she has served as the Lake Wylie Lakekeeper and leader of the Coverkeeper volunteers on the lake. Also during this time, she has helped organize Riversweep, the annual fall lake clean up event. In 2013, she joined the CRF board of directors.

Lake Wylie Rotary “Gears Up” for Fundraiser

The Lake Wylie Rotary Clubs is “gearing up” for their annual fundraiser to be held September 13 at the Red Fez Club. It is the Lake Wylie Luau. Funds raised at this event are used help fund our Scholarship Program, assisting with building an outdoor science lab at Bethel Elementary School, and many other community endeavors.
